9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Bay-Arenac ISD - Bangor Room
Professional Development

This session will contain a comprehensive look at the Geometry strand of the CCSS and how they are vertically linked across the grades. The Geometry strand has come under fire recently as the appearance of its de-emphasis on the SAT has been well documented. The issue is that much of what was a traditional tenth grade subject has now been incorporated in ALL grade levels and continues to be assessed on the M-Step. Teachers will gain a good understanding of what each grade level’s standards and will also cover strategies and good classroom tasks that can carry over from year to year.
