New Graduation Requirements

The Michigan State Board of Education introduced new high school graduation requirements in December 2005 which were enacted into law by the state legislature in March 2006.  These requirements, when successfully completed, will give  Michigan's high school graduates the foundation they need for higher education and to be competitive for jobs of the future.  Students will have the academic and applied learning skills business and industry leaders say are needed in the workforce.

The requirements of this rigorous curriculum will also prepare students to be successful in passing the Michigan Merit Exam.

For more information about the new high school graduation requirements, please contact your school district curriculum director or your building principal.
