School Improvement

School Districts in Michigan are required to develop three-five year school improvement plans. These plans become a blueprint for schools to establish goals, objectives, and strategies to accomplish the goals. Also required in the plans are details about staff development, resources needed, and data mangement and assessment. Each plan is then monitored within the school as a means of measuring the school's ability to meet their goals and objectives.

Included under the School Improvement section on this website are tools which assist schools to develop, support, and enhance school improvement plans.
