Career/Technical Programs

Programs vary from semester to semester depending on instructor and classroom availability.  We offer two semesters: Fall, which runs September - December and Winter, which runs January - May.

Students may register for more than one program, as long as the nights and times do not conflict.  If a program runs two nights a week students are epxected to attend both nights.

Career Technical Training

Career Technical training programs offer students an opportunity to update or learn new skills in a variety of skill areas, including providing entry level information and skill development in several occupational areas. Certificates of Completion are offered in several program areas that provide essential training related not only to basic knowledge levels in those program areas, but prepare students for required state or other licensure or certification. Some of these programs include:

  • ARC Welding
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Machine Trades
  • Medical Office Assistant
  • Phlebotomy

Adult Education students may also participate in Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center daytime Career/Technical programs with high school juniors and seniors when availability permits. These programs are offered at two (2) different time segments and meet Monday through Friday from 7:55 - 10:35 a.m. or 12:00 - 2:40 p.m. and may be free to persons meeting eligibility requirements. Students not meeting eligibility requirements will be charged full tuition.
