Class Registration Information

  

Tuition

Tuition fees are listed under each of the individual course descriptions on the appropriate pages for the individual program catagories. Full tuition is expected at time of registration. Payment plans may be available for those students who are unable to make full payment at time of registration. A payment plan requires a minimum of half (1/2) of the total tuition down at time of registration, and tuition is to be paid in full no later than the 8th week of the same semester.

The following payments can be accepted for tuition:

  • Cash (Exact Change ONLY) Yes, in person registrations ONLY
  • Check Yes, in person registrations ONLY
  • Money Order Yes, in person registrations ONLY
  • Credit Card (Visa/MasterCard ONLY) Yes, in person and phone registrations
  • Authorizations for Payment (3rd Party Payments) Yes, in person registrations ONLY

~Seniors ages 62 years of age or older pay one-half (1/2) of the tuition cost for Career/Technical classes.~

Registration Process

 

  • Students who are paying tuition may do so at any time during the designated registration period.
  • Phone registrations may not be taken on the first day of registration.
  • Walk-in registrations may be taken before phone registrations.
  • NOTE: Certified Nursing Assistant Registrations must be done in person, NO EXCEPTIONS, the following documentation MUST be provided, State of Michigan criminal background check and negative TB test. (see course description for details)
  • Payment plans may be available, but cannot be done over the phone.

Textbooks

Starting Fall 2011, it will be the students' responsibility to obtain their textbook before the class begins. The Textbook name and ISBN's are listed as part of the class descriptions.

Refunds for Career Technical Classes

Refunds for evening courses are available with a declining percentage of tuition, provided a request is made no later than the 3rd night of the course. Refunds for daytime courses are available with a declining percentage of tuition provided a request is made no later than the 3rd week of the course.

There will be NO refunds granted after the 3rd night/week of the course. Refunds come in the form of a check payable to the student at the address given on the registration form approximately 1 1/2 - 2 weeks after request is made.

Winter 2012 Registration

Begins Wednesday, January 4, 2012

Certified Nursing Assistant  ONLY: Registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis until program is full starting Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from  10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

All Other Adult Education Program Registrations: Registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis until program(s) are full starting Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Janaury 4 & 5, 2012 Registration Hours will be

12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Starting Monday January 9, 2012, registrations will be taken Monday - Thursday from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. 

Registrations will NOT be taken on Fridays.

   Career Technical Classes begin week of January 16, 2012.
