PROGRAM PROFILE
Students in this program specialize in installation, maintenance and repair of heating and cooling systems. Many technicians perform both installation and service on all types of equipment. The students are prepared and tested for EPA Certification. The test is administered on-line with the ESCO Institute of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. With a satisfactory score, the student earns the Federal Refrigerant Handling Certification. Each year the HVAC students fabricate and install the heating system in the Building Trades II project house.
