CHAMPIONS AT WORK

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives, working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. It helps each student excel.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.

2009-2010 State Gold Medal - Entrepreneruship Team

Students from fifteen different program areas have the opportunity to join SkillsUSA. This year there are over 550 members in SkillsUSA at the Career Center. The students also have the opportunity to campaign to become an officer for our local chapters.  The election is a democratic process where each candidate will campaign and are elected by their peers.
