Bay-Arenac ISD offers Teacher Academy for New Teachers and Teachers with New positions in Bay and Arenac Counties. Sessions are designed to assist teachers in topics such as Classroom Management, the Successful Parent/Teacher Conference, Learning Styles, Integration of the Brain,
Putting All the Pieces of the Puzzle Together, and Curriculum Expectations.
Sessions are held at Bay-Arenac ISD's Educational Service Center at
4228 Two Mile Road, Bay City, MI 48706.
All sessions are required to complete the series.

Cool Tools for Teachers
The Bay-Arenac ISD Teacher Academy has been created for New Teachers and Teachers with New positions at the elementary, middle, and high school level. The series is specifically designed to meet Section 1526 of the Michigan School Code, which requires five-days of professional development during the first year of teaching (15 days within the firs three years).

Teachers must attend all six sessions, as each session builds on the previous session.
Teachers are required to turn this passport in to their district administrative central office upon completion.
