04/09/2007
Here’s what’s up for the week of April 9, 2007:
1. Welcome back - I trust you had a restful break and are now recharged for the final eight plus weeks of the school year. I would like to commend the custodial staff for their efforts in helping “perk-up” the building for the end-of-the-year push. Thanks for your efforts. The buildings look great!
2. Strategic Plan - Just as an update our strategic plan, the 12 strategy teams have been working on the goals identified by each committee. If you wish to see the progress that is being made, you can check it out on our website. Again, thanks to all the many staff members who are assisting the district in reaching our strategy goals. A summary of this year’s work will be presented to the Board this month on Monday, April 23.
3. Condolences Darlene Ahlberg’s mother-in-law, Janet T. Ahlberg, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2007. A Memorial Service will take place today, April 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Bay City. Friends may call at the church today, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. If anyone would like to send a sympathy card, please send it to: Rick and Darlene Ahlberg, 950 Cecelia Drive, Essexville, MI 48732. Please keep the Ahlberg family in your thoughts and prayers.
