Mike's Monday Memo for the week of April 23, 2007

04/23/2007
Here’s what’s up for the week of April 23, 2007:

  1. Administrative Professional’s Day – Just as a reminder, Wednesday, April 25th, is Administrative Professional’s Day. Please take just a few minutes to thank these hard working individuals. Our Office Professionals are number one in my book.

  1. Board Retreat – This evening, our Board of Education will conduct their Annual Retreat meeting. They will also have an opportunity to review our Strategic Plan.

  1. Correction to Inside Story – Career Center Summer Schools begins on June 12th and ends on July 12.

  1. Superintendent Survey - I would like to thank all of our staff that took the time to complete the survey. I always find your input to be very helpful.

  1. Professional Development (PD) Reminder – This is a reminder that all professional staff are required to enter their professional development hours into Coursewhere by the end of May 2007 for the 2006-07 school year. Your professional development hours are reported to the State through the Registry of Educational Personnel (REP) via Coursewhere in June. If your hours are not entered into Coursewhere, they will not be reported to the State. If you have any questions or are having any problems entering your PD hours into Coursewhere, please contact Erika Rupert at extension 3375.

  1. Summer “Pilot” work schedule – For the summer of 2007, I requested that our Educational Service Center pilot a four-day work schedule between July 9th and August 17, 2007. I have attached the approved schedule for your review.

  1. Birthday Wishes – 4/23 Paul Osborn, Roger Reichmann; 4/24 David Buchmann; 4/25 Katie Ries, Louann Suszko; 4/29 Tamara Richard.
Happy Birthday to everyone!
