Mike's Monday Memo 05/07/2007 Mike’s Monday Memo
Here’s what’s up for the week of May 7, 2007:
-
School Election - Just as a reminder, our annual school elections will be held on Tuesday, May 8th for our local school districts. I would encourage you to mark your calendar to get out and vote. A number of our districts will have Board Member elections and a Headlee Override. Don’t forget as your votes do count. The only district that won’t have an election is Arenac Eastern; their school board election will be held in November.
-
Baby News – Stacey Meininger, School Social Worker, had a baby girl on April 25, 2007. Her name is Sienna Eve. Mom and Sienna are doing great!
-
National City – Two $100 U.S. Savings Bonds to be given away for anyone who currently direct deposits their net check into a National City account, or for anyone who signs up to do so by the deadline. If anyone is interested, they should contact Ginger in the Business Office at x3254 no later than this Friday, May 11.
-
Birthday Wishes - 5/7 Amy Rosebush; 5/8 Jill Vasquez; 5/9 Brian Ducolon, Coleen Kelly; 5/10 Claudia Krueger; 5/11 Zoe Mochrie. Happy Birthday to everyone!
Words to live by this week:
The reason grandparents and grandchildren get along so well is that they have a common enemy.
