On behalf of the Bay-Arenac ISD Board of Education, I would like to thank each and every one of our staff members for helping make the 2006-2007 school year such a tremendous success. Summer Hours - |
Just a reminder that during the summer months our office will be open during the following times: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday, June 11th through Friday, July 6. We will then move to a four day work week beginning Monday, July 9th through Friday, August 17. All offices are closed for the Fourth of July Holiday. If you need to see someone, it is always best to call ahead as many of our staff will be taking their much deserved vacations during this time as well. Remember to call first! |

Summer Programs - |
As many of you are aware, our ISD offers many summer programs for our students from Special Education extended programming to summer school at our Career Center. To those staff members that are involved in summer programs, I thank you and wish you a successful program. |

Summer Cleaning - |
This summer, as with every summer, our custodial and maintenance crew will be working on a number of summer projects in preparation of the upcoming school year. As the regular school year draws to a close, summer cleaning is heating up! |

Next Board Meeting - |
Our next regular Board meeting is today, June 4th at 4:00 p.m. Staff is always welcome to attend. |

Retirements - |
On Behalf of the Board of Education I would like to wish the employees that will be retiring on June 30, 2007 the utmost success in all your future endeavors. Your years of service to this ISD have been tremendous and greatly appreciated. We will never be able to replace you. We would like to thank the following for all their years of service: Linda Gilbert, Jeffrey Hahn, Diane Kiebel, Margaret Meagher, Carol Ortiz, Roger Reichmann, Kerry Sayen, Larry Smith Sr., Arlene Walter, Robert Wenzlick, and Juliann Wonch. |

Opening Day Event - |
Our Annual Opening Day event has been set for Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Please mark your calendar. More information will be forthcoming to you the end of July or beginning of August. |

Finally, I would like to wish each of you a great summer! Forget about the high gas prices. Get out and enjoy the weather. Remember to laugh a lot, spend time with loved ones, read a good book, and take time for yourself. Summer is the time to “re-charge” your personal batteries! See you all in August! |
