Mike's Monday Memo

11/12/2007
Here’s what’s up for the week of November 12, 2007:

  1. Hunting Season – I would like to wish all our staff members who deer hunt for the Michigan mighty white-tail, a successful season.

  1. Regular Board Meeting – The next Board meeting is November 19, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Employees are always welcome to attend.

  1. Sharing Good News – I need your help. Please forward some of the great things that are happening in your classroom or buildings to either Brenda Peppel or me. Hey, you/we need to “toot” our horns. Don’t let us down because we need to hear from you.

  1. Union Rep Meeting – Just a reminder that I am meeting with the Union Representatives in December. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

  1. Mary Ellen Bluem Retirement Celebration – Please join us in the retirement celebration for Mary Ellen Bluem on Friday, November 30th at 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. in the Bay City Room at the Educational Service Center. To view the flyer, please click here.

  1. Program Pictures – If you have photos of your program or special event, I would like to display them on our bulletin board in our Board Room.  Our Board members are always interested in seeing examples of the great things that are happening in and around the ISD. Please share them with us. I promise to return them to you.

7. Birthday Wishes – 11/13 Machelle Card, John Whitehead; 11/16 Sara Freels. A happy birthday goes out to each of you.
