Mike's Monday Memo for the week of December 10, 2007

1. Christmas Holiday - The Christmas holiday is fast approaching. We will be closed on December 24^th and 25^th, and December 31^st and January 1, 2008. The Educational Service Center will be open on December 26^th, 27^th, and 28. All other programs will be back in full swing on January 2, 2008.

2. Glass Candle Shelters – Rainbow crystal clear or Christmas green and red votive candle glass candle covers will add flickering colorful accents to any room. These handcrafted glass candle shelters, made by SAANES classroom students, are available for immediate sale at the Educational Service Center at Mary Sullivan’s desk or from a SAANES classroom student. The cost is $8.00 each, including a glass votive and candle. The size is 2 3/8” by 2 ¾”. Check the attachment for a picture advertisement.

3. Saginaw Spirit Tickets – Once again, we are selling Saginaw Spirit hockey game tickets for the game on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 7:11 p.m. for a rate of $7.50 per ticket! Ticket order deadline is Friday, February 21. Please view the attachment for more information. Contact Katie Legner at extension 3200 for your ticket order.

4. Board Meeting - Our next Board meeting will be on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Essexville-Hampton Room. Staff is always welcome. The December 17, 2007 Board meeting has been cancelled.
