Mikes Monday Memo for the Week of March 24, 2008

Here’s what’s up for the week of March 24, 2008: 


1. Spring Break – Our Career Center and Special Education programs will be closed Monday, March 31, 2008, and will be back in session on Monday, April 7, 2008.
     
2. Fund Raiser – Our Career Center will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, March 26. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Children under age five are FREE! The funds raised will go to support our student clubs at the Career Center and help cover competition costs. 
     
3. Family Friendly Award – It is with great pleasure that I announce to our staff that Bay-Arenac ISD has been selected to receive the 2008 Bay County Chamber Award. A special thanks goes to Dave Sevener and others who helped with the completion of the application. Bay-Arenac ISD will receive the award on Wednesday, March 26th, at the “Chamber’s annual meeting.  
     
4. Success –  It is derived from determination to succeed. Once that fact is realized, then you are ready to strike out on your own journey to success.
