I would challenge our Instructional and Support staff to remain focused on our mission of “Educational Excellence” as we face just a few weeks of school remaining in the 2007-2008 school year. Now is not the time to lessen our expectations.Our students deserve our very best! |

Professional Development Reminder –
|
This is a reminder that all professional staff is required to enter their professional development hours into Coursewhere by May 20, 2008. Your professional development hours are reported to the Michigan Department of Education through REP via Coursewhere and if your hours are not entered into Coursewhere, they will not be reported to the State. If you have any questions or are having problems entering your PD hours into Coursewhere, please contact Erika Rupert at extension 3375. |

Special Education Fundraiser –
|
Parent Partners (the parent group that supports Special Education students) is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th at Castaways. Tickets are $7.00 per person and children under 10 eat free. Tickets include dinner only. Beverage and gratuity is additional. Proceeds go toward summer enrichment program scholarships, field trips to handicap accessible locations, and aid classrooms with supplies and equipment. To view flyer, please click here. |

Baby news –
|
Melissa Mannor (Occupational Therapist) had a baby boy on March 17, 2008. His name is Alexander George Mannor and he weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. Congratulations to Melissa, Bob, and big sister Miriam on the birth of Alexander! |

Sharon Makar’s (Business Information Processing Instructor) mother, Ann Tacia passed away last Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Please keep Sharon and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
