Mike's Monday Memo for the Week of April 21, 2008

Here’s what’s up for the week of April 21, 2008:

1. Special Education Graduation and Prom – Special Education graduation and prom will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Midland Street in Bay City.
     
2. Quote – “A good deed is better than the grandest good intention.” –  DUGUET
     
3. Special Events – Please don’t forget to send us the time and location of special events that you are planning for the end of the year. Remember we like to share good news.
     
4. Our next Board meeting is tonight –  Staff is always welcome.
     
5. Special Board Meeting – We will have a special Board meeting on Monday, April 28, 2008 to review and present our updated Strategic Plan to the Board. Staff is welcome to attend this meeting as well.
     
6. Computer Clean Up “H” Drive  – In anticipation of our move from Novell to Microsoft Networking, we need all staff go through their files/data stored on the “H” drive and delete old files/data or duplicate files. Please refer to the “Records Retention and Disposal Schedule for Michigan Public Schools.” If you need a copy of this retention schedule, your office professional should have a copy for you to use. We are asking that you have your “H” drive cleaned up by May 1, 2008. Thank you for your help with this conversion.
