Here’s what’s up for the week of October 3, 2005:

  1. United WayThe annual United Way Campaign kick-off for Bay-Arenac ISD will be October 3 through October 14.  You will receive a packet of information soon.  I would ask that if you have given in the past that you continue and if you have not contributed in the past that you consider doing so. Our Bay Area United Way helps so many people in our county.  If you have any questions, you can contact Dave Sevener at 667-3201.

  5. 2005 Christmas Stuff a Stocking Program – We are planning to participate in this stocking stuffer program sponsored by the Salvation Army. In order to wear jeans, you must pay $3.00 or bring in a stocking stuffer to Katie Legner at the Educational Service Center. Some examples of stocking stuffers for younger children are: chapstick, coloring books, crayons, jump rope, hot wheels, play jewelry, small books, hair accessories, and baseball cards. For older children: bubble bath, lotion, gum, key chains, pens, gift certificates, shampoo, jewelry, candy, etc. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Legner at 667-3200.
