Mike's Monday Memo for 11/21/05 11/21/2005 Here’s what’s up for the week of November 21, 2005:
- Happy Thanksgiving - On behalf of the Board of Education I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Have a safe weekend. We need you all back here next week. There are just too many good things to eat on Thanksgiving, so don’t overindulge.
- Homeless Children - As the Bay-Arenac ISD official Homeless Liaison Officer, I need to make the following announcement. If you are aware of any student that you work with that you believe is staying in temporary housing with relatives, living at a campground, in a car/vehicle, living with another family member temporarily, or may have moved several times in the past year, I would request that you contact me to discuss that student. They may be considered “Homeless” I have attached a help sheet for your review as well. If you have any questions, give me a call at ext. 3273.
- Regular Board Meeting – The next Board meeting is tonight, Monday, November 21, 2005 at 4:00 pm. As always, employees are welcome to attend.
