Mike's Monday Memo - January 9, 2006

Here’s what’s up for the week of January 09, 2006:

1. Board Recognition Month - Again, on behalf of the entire staff, I would like to thank our Board Members for the many wonderful things they do each and everyday. It takes a very special person to serve on a public school board. I am proud to say we have seven very special people.
   
   
2. Reminder to Share - I would just like to remind our staff to share the good things that are happening in and around our district. If you have an upcoming program or special event you’d like to share, pass it along to us and we will incuded it in the weekly memo.
   
   
3. ISD Facts - Did you know that BAISD operates nine special education programs between our two counties?  They are as follows:  Bangor Central, LLC Bay, LLC Arenac, Bay County Juvenile Center, Handy Middle School, Pinconning Advance Academy, Post-Secondary Smith Manor, Trombley Educational Center and Verellen Elementary School.
