Mikes Monday Memo for 1/23/06

01/23/2006
Here’s what’s up for the week of January 23, 2006:

  1. Hard to Believe – This is the last full week of January. Just keep thinking only 56 more days until SPRING! It’s just around the corner.

  1. Cold and Flu Season – It’s that time of year when we find ourselves catching the cold or flu “BUG.”  Just a reminder to take care of yourself. Everyone is important, so please try to stay healthy.

  1. Paying for Coffee, Hot Cocoa and Tea – Remember, if you haven’t already paid your $2.00/month or $24.00/year for coffee, hot cocoa and tea for this school year, please be sure to pay Connie Frank at the ESC building, Ruth Peil at the Career Center, Nancy Rochow at the LLC-Bay Campus, or Lori Peterson at the LLC-Arenac Campus.

  1. Publication Authorization - This is a reminder that any time you have a student or staff member's picture in a photograph, video, or film (including television pictures), you need to make sure we have a Public Authorization form signed and on file. This is very important because according to our Board Policy and our Administrative Rules #9010-R, we need to have these signed and on file before the promotional material is published. Attached is another copy of the form. Thank you for your help to make sure we are in compliance with Board Policy. If you need a copy of the Public Authorization form, please click here.

  1. Inspirational quotes are always good to share -

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”
                                                     -
Eleanor Roosevelt

“Your success and happiness lie within you. External conditions are the accidents of life.”
                                                     -Helen Keller

“There is no such thing as failure, only different outcomes.”
