Mike's Monday Memo

01/31/2006

Here’s what’s up for the week of January 30, 2006:

  1. Ground Hog Day – Thursday, February 2nd, is the official day.  Will Mr. or Mrs. Hog see his/her shadow?  The excitement is almost too much to bear!

  2. Valentine’s Day - Just a reminder that the special day is only two weeks away. Don’t forget to pick up that card or make dinner plans for your special someone.

  3. Winter Property Taxes – This is a reminder that Winter Property Taxes are due Feb. 14. Is this a bad joke for Valentine’s Day?

  4. Imagination Library Update – Who would have thought that in 12 short months we would have over 3,900 children from the age of zero to five receiving a book each month?  Thanks to everyone who has made this program possible.

  5. Bay-Arenac ISD will be accepting sealed bids for sale of the following: 1993 Ford F250 4x4 Pickup with new Meyer Plow System, 1989 Chevrolet HD Fleetside 4x4 Pickup with Plow System & Salt Spreader, 1997 Ford Windstar Van.
