Personal Focus –
|
Cyclist, Lance Armstrong is a great individual example of maintaining focus. His clarity of focus enabled him to overcome cancer and achieve unprecedented results in the sport of cycling. When he began training after his cancer treatment, he watched as mothers pushing jogger strollers passed by him. Two years later, he won the Tour de France. His focus helped him use his situation as motivation rather than discouragement and enabled Lance to win the Tour de France seven consecutive times.

Little known facts about the ISD. The ISD first vocational millage was voted on in 1969. The Educational Service Center had the building “Grand Opening” on December 5, 1971. More facts to follow in the future.
