Here’s what’s up for the week of September 18, 2006:

1. Next Board Meeting   Our next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for this afternoon at 4:00 pm at the Educational Service Center. Staff is always welcome to attend.
       
2. Santa is Making Appointments -   If you are interested in having Santa visit your program again this year, give me a call. I’ll get the message to the North Pole.
       
3. First Day of Autumn -   Can you believe that Saturday, September 23rd is the first day of autumn? It’s time to break out the jackets and sweaters.
       
4. Great Opening -   I would like to thank each of you for all you have done to make this year’s opening one of our very best. Yes, we have had a few problems regarding bussing issues for Special Education and a few other concerns, but all in all, we’re off to a great start. Thank you for all your efforts.
       
5. Special Announcements -   If you have something that you would like to announce to our staff regarding a special event or upcoming activity don’t hesitate to call Katie or me. 
       
6. Survey -     I would like to thank each of you who took the time to complete our opening day survey. 
       
7. Life’s Little Instruction Book  

During the year, I will share a few suggestions from this inspirational book:

Item 544 “When you borrow money, dress as if you have plenty of it.” 

Item 540 “Drive as you wish your kids would. Never speed or drive recklessly   with children in the car.”
