Mike's Monday Memo

Here’s what’s up for the week of November 13, 2006:

 1. LLC – Arenac Campus Candle Sale –   The students in Gloria Anderson and Louann Suszko’s classroom are selling candles for $8. There are a variety of scents available and you can purchase your candles until Monday, November 20. Please see the attached flyer with more details.
       
 2. Career Center Fundraiser Dinner -     Due to the power outage last week, the Career Center found it necessary to re-schedule “You, the Night, and a Crab” for this Thursday, November 16th from 5-9 pm in the Career Center Cafeteria. If you are still interested in purchasing tickets, it’s not too late! Please contact Ruth Peil at ext. 3402 for tickets.
       
 3. Speaking of the Power Outage -     I would like to personally thank each and every one of you who helped during this difficult time. A special thanks to Mike Legner, Brenda Peppel, Mike Rivard, Sally Marion, Dave Bourdon Craig Loree, Mary Ellen Bluem, Randall Schantz, and Bruce Curtiss. 
       
 4. Hunter Safety -    This week as our hunters go out into the woods, I would caution everyone to be safe. The deer will be on the move so drive careful. In addition, some of our districts will be closed on Wednesday, November 15, 2006. They are as follows: AuGres-Sims, Arenac-Eastern, Pinconning, and Standish-Sterling.
