Parent Connect

By developing and strengthening the relationship between parents and their children's schools, the goal of ParentConnect is to improve student academic achievement in 3,000 families in Bay and Arenac counties. Through connecting parents to the process, we will Help parents engage with their children in six identified school communities Train parents on their advocacy rights and how to effectively advocate for their children Share information on No Child Left Behind, Education YES!, and school improvement activities Provide parenting and student achievement tip sheets, tools, and resources Develop a network of parent support groups Working collaboratively with agency partners, we will link parents to valuable community services and supports.
