Bay-Arenac ISD

ASD Program

Bay-Arenac ISD operates a classroom program for students with Autistic Impairments at Cramer Junior High School and Verellen Elementary School in the Essexville-Hampton Public School District.  The ISD also operates a classroom program at Standish Elementary School.  These classrooms are housed within a local school buildings, thereby providing the students with an age appropriate environment. It is designed to provide educational opportunities for children to develop skills to effectively and independently participate in the school and community environment. The curriculum is structured to meet each student’s developmental level.  All students work toward individualized goals as defined in their Individual Educational Program (IEP).  Parent and guardians are considered essential participants in their child’s education.
