September 12, 2019: Chromebook Foundations I - Come learn the basics of a Chromebook & the purpose of having them in the classroom. Participants will learn about Google apps, terminology, shortcuts & tips.
October 2, 2019: Chromebook Foundations II - Come explore the chromebook and learn about the following. Options in settings, starting a Google Drive, shortcuts, apps & extensions & advanced settings options.
October 17, 2019: Google Classroom Quick Start - We will cover a wide range of topics including, setting up a Google Classroom, themes, class code & stream settings, announcements, creating quizzes, extensions and much more.
October 30, 2019: Google Calendar and Gmail - After this training participants will be able to; access Google Calendar and change views, create individual and recurring events, add an event with an attachment, create a private event, add a reminder or invite guests to an event, view calendars shared by others and create a new calendar for special purposes.
November 5, 2019: Google Drive and Docs Quick Start - Explore the differences between Google Drive and other programs. Learn the basics of getting started in Google Docs, creating bookmarks, creating folders, sharing folders, uploading/converting Word docs, moving files, voice typing, and getting to know the tool bar.
All sessions will be held 4:00 - 6:00 pm

This will be a hands-on training, so please bring a Chromebook if you have one. If not, one will be supplied.
