Get Involved in CTE

Supporting Career Technical Education (CTE) students  is a great way to leave your legacy in your industry!

Did you know that qualified business/industry professionals can become CTE teachers without a teaching degree if they have recent and relevant business/industry experience? If teaching isn't for you, there are still many ways to make an impact on the future of your industry by supporting students in CTE programs at the Career Center.

You can support students preparing for careers in your industry by:

  • Becoming a CTE teacher
  • Serving on CTE program advisory committees
  • Offering guest speaking opportunities
  • Hosting students for tours or job shadows
  • Offering apprenticeships, internships, and job opportunities
