Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sports Medicine

This program offers students complete exploration of rehabilitative careers. Students will learn in the classroom setting and our specially equipped rehabilitation lab. Students will learn professional skills to include: patient care, mobility, therapeutic program development, rehabilitative equipment training, range of motion and manual muscle testing. Students will learn how the body heals post injury, and how to reasonably prevent certain injuries. Students will gain knowledge of legal and ethical issues in healthcare, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, client interaction, communication, OSHA regulations and good work habits.
